Annette grew up in the Cedar Valley and has been an advocate to the community. She has done various volunteer work though out the community such as donating time with Aspire Therapeutic Riding Program, Cedar Valley Food Bank, Reflexology Association of Iowa and money with adopt a Family for the Holidays, United Way, March of Dimes, and Breast Cancer Awareness and other various organizations. Annette currently owns Reflexology Heels The Soles which opened in November 2011 and has been in business for 5 years (Currently located in the lower level of Vanderloo Chiropractic Office). In addition, Annette is the Director of Massage Therapy at Capri College, in Waterloo, Iowa. Where she teaches Introductory to Reflexology, Massage Theory, Massage Hands on Classes, Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Kinesiology, Ethics/Boundaries/Laws, Guidelines to Professional Business, Massage History/Development, Aromatherapy, Client Assessments and Student Clinics.
Annette networks with other massage therapist and works with several Chiropractors around the area to help assist in reduction of muscle pain in clients for wellness care needs.
Annette began her journey as a professional Reflexologist in 2009 and has a diverse background in bodywork training and specialties including chronic back, neck pain and pregnancy massage. She holds a BA in Business Management and is a Certified Natural Health Professional Coach, Iowa Licensed Massage Therapist, and a Registered Certified Reflexologist. Annette is a American Heart Association CPR/First Aid Instructor. Annette enjoys learning and experiencing alternative therapies such as: Bach Flowers, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Massage Therapy, Reiki Energy, Charka balancing, Sound Therapy, and more.
